Player Journey
The player’s journey will start from playing in the Qualifier league. Here, from Qualifier to National, he will play in 5 levels; every level in the qualifier, district, zone and state comprises of one match. The top two scoring batters and top two scoring bowlers in a match will be promoted to the next level. i.e. four players in each match will be promoted to the next level.
In this way, the player will play first & second levels, (which means two matches) in districts; third levels ( means one match) in the zone; and one level (means one match) in the state. This means the player can reach the national level after playing in the 4 levels i.e. 4 matches within a year. At the national level, a Player auction will be done, and the players will be assigned to different state franchisees. These players will play the National PPL league. These matches will be broadcast on digital platforms. The audience will see the emerging legends playing in the PPL in an innovative, exciting, one-on-many Piplon format
The Piplon Pro League - Player Journey Only four Levels (4 matches) to become state player
The Piplon Pro League (PPL) offers a unique and exciting pathway for aspiring cricketers to reach the state level, national level and beyond. Here’s how your journey goes:
Qualifier (Levels 1 ):
Your journey begins at the qualifier level ( Level-1 .) You will play one match. The top two batters and top two bowlers from each match are promoted to the next upper level i.e. District Level.
District (Levels 2):
Successful players from the qualifier Level-1 advance to the district level (District Level 2.) You will play one match here. The top two batters and top two bowlers from each match are promoted to the next upper level.
Zone Level (Levels 3 )
Successful players from the district Level-2 advance to zone Level-3. You'll play a match at this level. Again, the top two batters and top two bowlers from each match are promoted to the next upper level.
State Level (Level 4)
This crucial stage comprises one match. The top performers from the zone level will compete here. The top four players from each match at the state level are recognised as State Player and will receive cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000/- each..
National Level (Level 5)
After proving yourself at the state level, you will reach the national stage. A player auction will then take place, assigning you to a state franchise.
National PPL League
As a member of your assigned state franchise, you will now compete in the National PPL League.
International Opportunities
Top performers in the National PPL League may have the chance to progress even further to international competitions.
